The objective is to screen the entire area of Gilgit Baltistan (GB) with respect to solar irradiation, select suitable sites for PV systems, elaborate feasibility, final design and grid connection options, provide tender document and related PC-1 and to support in decision making and follow up procedure. The project is formulated as to identify the feasible solar generation sites across GB with detail investigation and engineering design for each site. It will contribute to the overall goals to ensure the power supply of GB and supports its further economic development and improve the living conditions of its population
